BLEMISH REMOVAL
Non surgical, minimally invasive, quick and effective removal and reduction of many common skin blemishes.
BLEMISH REMOVAL TREATMENTS
With my extensive experience and training with the world leaders in Electrolysis, you can be confident in the knowledge that you’re in safe hands.
I can treat many blemishes that are non treatable on the NHS due to their cosmetic nature.
The Treatment and Blemish Removal Process
Using an advanced electrolysis method, the treatments involve using a pen-like device with a very fine probe. This device emits short wave diathermy and cauterises the blemish which is then either fully removed on the day of treatment or will disperse naturally over a short period.
Varied techniques are used depending on the blemish being treated. Patients may experience mild discomfort, healing time varies from person to person and depending upon the blemish being treated.
Blood Spots
Small benign red blood-filled blemishes found on the body, commonly on torso or sun-exposed areas. Removed via diathermy.
Skin Tags
Non-cancerous skin growths, often in friction areas like underarms, neck, eyes, and chest.
Removed via advanced electrolysis.
Milia
Small, superficial white spots containing keratin, often around the eyes. Diathermy treatment offers effective, minimally invasive removal.
Seborrheic Keratosis
Seborrheic Keratosis, also known as senile warts, are non-contagious growths with a dry, scaly appearance. Typically hereditary, they appear on the torso and face. Various removal techniques are available.
Warts and Verrucas
Warts and Verrucas, caused by HPV, spread via contact. Diathermy triggers the body’s healing response. 1-3 treatments may be needed for best results.
Sebaceous Hyperplasia
Sebaceous hyperplasia results from hair follicle blockage due to excess sebaceous gland activity, causing oil overproduction. Primarily affects the face.
Syringomas
A harmless overgrowth of cells in the sweat glands. They appear as clear bumps, usually around the eye area.
Thread Veins
Thread veins, also known as spider veins, are small, dilated blood vessels visible near the surface of the skin, often appearing as red, blue, or purple lines that resemble a spider’s web.
Moles
Moles can vary in colour and size and usually develop by the teenage years. The cause is usually genetic but other factors can contribute such as sun exposure. All moles must be checked by your GP to ensure the mole is healthy before being treated. Moles can then be safely reduced using the advanced electrolysis method via diathermy.
